Protesters from the group Black Lives Matter staged a demonstration on one of the busiest shopping days of the year at the Mall of America in Bloomington.

Chants of "Hands up! Don't shoot!" and "Black lives matter" filled the rotunda. After about an hour, police escorted protesters out and arrested 25 people.

Photojournalists Jackson Forderer, Yi-Chin Lee and Angela Jimenez documented the day.
