Teaching young about climate change a delicate task

The latest climate news is bleak. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is increasing at a record-breaking pace, and plants and oceans are less and less able to absorb the extra CO2, according to a United Nations report released yesterday.

The changing climate is becoming a fact of life. But how do we educate children about this complex and often scary topic? MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Kristen Poppleton, director of education for a Minneapolis-based foundation, about that.
