Two men have been charged in the shooting death of a Brooklyn Center man, whose burnt body was found near a waste container in south Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Attorney's office says 24-year-old Manuel Guzman of Minneapolis and 22-year-old Guillermo Ayala-Enriquez of Brooklyn Center have been charged with second-degree murder in the case.
According to the criminal complaint, the two allegedly accused 31-year-old Rufina Clara-Rendon of being a snitch and shot him once in the head.
The complaint says the two then rolled him up in a carpet, cut open a mattress and put him inside. They allegedly put the mattress into a car, then bought gas which they poured on the victim's body and lit on fire.
The two have been arrested and are in custody.
