Mpls man tossed off flight for tweeting

A Minneapolis man and his two kids were thrown off a Southwest Airlines flight from Denver to Minneapolis on Sunday because he tweeted his displeasure that the two kids weren't allowed to "priority board" with him.

“In leaving I said, you know, ‘Real nice way to treat an A-list. I’ll be sure to tweet about it,’” he told WCCO.

“Something to the effect of, ‘Wow, rudest agent in Denver. Kimberly S, gate C39, not happy @SWA,’” he said.

Even though he deleted the tweet, he was tossed anyway.

“There was no use of profanity, there were no threats made. There was nothing other than, you know, a terse exchange between a customer service agent and a customer,” he told 'CCO.

Southwest Airlines says it's looking into the incident but, because of privacy issues, can't say whether the gate agent was disciplined for the incident.

It's not as if Watson is the town grump. A month ago he was Southwest's best Twitter pal for a few minutes.
