Costello begins a North American solo tour with a show tonight at the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium on the campus of Saint Catherine University in St. Paul. Last week, he appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and performed a song he says he wrote the night before. It's a tale of aging and disillusionment called "The Last Year of My Youth."
