The toddler who survived a high-speed interstate crash that killed his parents in Anoka County has been reunited with his grandmother.
Two-year-old Bishop Hooks was wrapped in his grandmother's arms Monday night. Family members say she, Patricia Jackson, will be his legal guardian.
The toddler wasn't seriously hurt when a car driven by his father, Wilbur Hooks, slammed into the back of a semi on Interstate 694 near Fridley last Friday night.
Hooks and his wife, Patrice Hooks, died in the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol says Hooks was going about 100 mph at the time of the collision. The boy's aunt, Brenda Hunter, tells KMSP-TV Patrice Hooks was 4 months pregnant when she died.
