The beauty of an April snowstorm? It's here today and gone tomorrow.
MPR News photojournalist Jeffrey Thompson set up a time-lapse camera at 7th and Cedar streets in downtown St. Paul to capture the sequence of events as several inches of snow fell, then quickly melted in sunshine and low humidity as temps soared into the 50s and 60s this weekend.
Officially, 4 inches of snow melted Sunday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. A total of 8 inches melted this weekend.
Enjoy!
