The Wisconsin Senate is set to pass a bill that would allow minors to enter wineries alone if they plan to take a tour.

Current state law prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from entering or being on the premises of any establishment with a retail alcohol sales license without a parent, guardian or spouse. The bipartisan bill would permit under-agers to enter winery banquet and hospitality rooms alone if they're participating in a tour.

The Senate's economic development committee approved the measure 5-0 last month. The full Senate is slated to take up the measure Tuesday.
