And the Cube Critics’ pick for best movie of 2013 goes to…

Euan's #3: "Wadjda", a Saudi Arabian-made film, starts with a simple premise: A young girl wants a bike. It evolves from there into a deep exploration that is a marvel to behold.

Stephanie's #3: "Caesar Must Die" is the story of a prison's production of Shakespeare's "Julias Caesar." It makes you look at Shakespeare in a new way.

Euan's #2: "The Act of Killing" is a documentary, 10 years in the making, about genocide in Indonesia.

Stephanie's #2: "Before Midnight" is the third in the "Before" series that follows Jesse and Celine through their 20s, 30s and now 40s. It's moving to see them grow older and heartbreaking to watch them squabble.

Stephanie and Euan's #1: "12 Years A Slave" is a deeply disturbing, beautiful film that everyone in America should see. It's a masterpiece.
