Vandals have struck a Mankato church for a second time.
Someone threw a brick, pieces of concrete block and a rock through two stained-glass windows and two other windows at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church early Friday.
Parish administrator Mark Frederick tells The Free Press the stained-glass windows were installed more than a century ago.
A Mankato police report says the thrown brick also damaged an elevator door inside the church.
The report says the estimated cost to replace the two regular windows is about $500 and the estimated cost to fix the elevator door is $1,000.
Frederick says it will be awhile before church officials know how much it will cost to repair or replace the stained-glass windows.
Windows also were broken at the church in August.
