President Barack Obama is expected to show his willingness to talk with Iranian President Hasan Rouhani about nuclear concessions in a planned addressed to the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday morning.
Leaders of the U.S. and Iran haven't had face-to-face contact in more than 30 years.
"The president has said all along that he would be willing to have that meeting providing that Iran demonstrates its seriousness in dealing with its nuclear weapons program," said White House spokesman Jay Carney.
Dan Roberts, The Guardian's Washington Bureau chief, joins The Daily Circuit to discuss Rouhani, the country's nuclear program and its appearance at the United Nations.
