A couple was killed and two other people were injured in Maple Lake Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 55.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports Delano, 71, and Lois Price, 80, of Maple Lake, were killed after their car was rear-ended as they were turning left off Highway 55 onto Dempsey Avenue.
Their car was pushed into oncoming traffic, where it crashed head-on into an approaching car. It then spun out and crashed into another car.
The two other people's injuries in the crash, according to the State Patrol, were not life-threatening.
The Maple Lake Fire Department and Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, and the incident closed Highway 55 for a time. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
