If all goes according to plan, the marble on Minnesota's century-old State Capitol building will be restored to its original gleaming white in about four years. And the infrastucture of the aging facility will have been repaired and modernized.
This phase of the Capitol's renovation was kicked off by the State Legislature which, earlier this week, approved $109 million in funding for the construction.
MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Spencer Cronk, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Administration, about the renovation.
