Duluth police say they've found a 12-year-old boy who was last seen getting on the bus after classes ended Thursday at Lincoln Park Middle School.

A police statement says Lyrik James Schmelz was found in an apartment Saturday night in the presence of a family member.

The department extended its thanks to the public for his help in finding the boy, but gave no further details on how he was found.
