Twin Cities housing prices jumped 12 percent in the last year, according to the Case-Shiller Home Price Index, while a builders' association says residential construction activity is taking off.
"What the most recent numbers from Case-Shiller illustrate for us is something we've been feeling happen over the past year. There's been a very clear shift in the marketplace," Alex Stenback, a loan officer with Alerus Mortgage in Minnetonka, told MPR.
A local real estate expert, Herb Tousley, will join The Daily Circuit to talk about issues in the housing market and how the Twin Cities numbers compare with the rest of Minnesota.
