The University of Minnesota School of Music's University Singers go on the school's first choral tour of Minnesota this week.
The tour includes clinics, group and private voice instruction, and rehearsals with high schools in greater Minnesota.
As part of the tour, the University Singers will present free public performances with high school students.
The tour opens Thursday in Osseo, continues to Brainerd and Baxter on Friday, and concludes in Cambridge on Saturday.
The University Singers is made up of 55 School of Music students and graduate student conductors. The group is led by director of choral activities Kathy Saltzman Romey and associate director of choral activities Matthew Mehaffey.
The University of Minnesota School of Music was established in 1902.
