A copy of the DEED report on hiring difficulties in Minnesota

Here's a copy of the state Department of Employment and Economic Development report -- obtained by MPR reporter Tom Robertson -- on "hiring difficulties" in Minnesota.

We've already reported on the doubts of research director Steve Hine, but I found the third bullet point in the executive summary of this report interesting.

An initial look seems to indicated issues in a certain slice of the labor force: positions requiring a high school degree or less, a relatively low level (up to three years) of experience, and those in production occupations. But it did surprise me that the difficulties seemed to be equally divided between the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota.
