Two northern Minnesota men have been indicted in connection with the armed robbery of a Kelliher bank.
Federal prosecutors say 19-year-old Cody Troy, of Mizpah, and 20-year-old Travis Burns, of Bemidji, robbed the First State Bank of Bigfork on Dec. 10.
The indictment alleges Troy entered the bank wearing a protective containment suit and a Halloween mask and pointed a sawed-off shotgun at a teller. It says Troy pumped the gun and ordered the teller to put money in his backpack before fleeing in a red pickup truck.
Two days later police arrested Troy on an outstanding warrant from Itasca County and located a red pickup. Authorities searched Burns' Bemidji apartment where Troy was staying. Federal officials say some of the approximate $3,700 taken from the bank was found in Burns' room.
