DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- A Minnesota man who fell from his deer stand in St. Louis County has been hospitalized in critical condition.
The sheriff's office says 55-year-old David Martti of Ham Lake fell about 8 feet from the deer stand on Saturday.
Authorities say he'd been preparing for the upcoming deer season about 12:45 p.m. when he fell. The stand is in White Township, about 10 miles southeast of Aurora.
A Duluth News Tribune report says a friend called 911. Martti was airlifted to a Duluth hospital.
