NHL lockout likely

The start date for the Minnesota Wild season may be delayed or even canceled. The National Hockey League and the NHL Player's Association are at an impasse which could lead to a lockout as early as tomorrow.

A key issue is a disagreement over how revenues should be shared between players and the NHL. The last labor dispute during the 2004 - 05 season caused a lockout that lasted 301 days.
