The St. Paul Police Department crime lab has been forced to suspend drug testing after allegations that the lab does not follow written procedure when testing for illegal drugs - a move that some say may have comprised evidence.
Court records now also show that at least one Dakota County prosecutor had known about the problem for almost four months.
