Speculation is running high about who Mitt Romney will choose for a vice presidential running mate. The probable Republican presidential nominee has been tight-lipped about who he's considering. But political observers and analysts are watching closely for clues.

Among the names being tossed around: Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. Pawlenty initially denied he was interested in the job, but has softened on that position since, and has become a highly visible part of Romney's campaign. The former governor joined Romney on a bus tour over the weekend.
