Residents in Lino Lakes are being told not to drink city water because it might contain bad bacteria.
The Minnesota Department of Health issued a Do Not Drink order on Monday morning, citing a temporary loss of pressure in the city's water system. The loss of pressure makes water vulnerable to bad bacteria.
Anoka County spokeswoman Martha Weaver says residents will be told when the order is lifted. It's expected to last through Tuesday.
More than 20 restaurants could be temporarily closed if they can't find other water supplies.
