-- Bemidji State University / Northwest Technical College President Richard Hanson to a question on whether he'd apply for the chancellorship of the North Dakota University System despite being nominated, The Bemidji Pioneer reports.
Hanson had a tough first year on the job, facing protests after filling a $5 million deficit by cutting 30 staffers between the two institutions and shutting Bemidji State's art history and theater programs.
Now in his second year, Hanson told the paper he's now doing long-range planning for the schools.
