What Winona State does right when it comes to business partnerships

“The program here really asks industry to participate and asks for advice.”

-- Steve Maki, vice president of technology for Winona plastic-compounding company RTP, on Winona State University's composite materials program, which has students working on projects for local and national industry.

Maki was on of several executives from different companies that told visiting MnSCU Chancellor Steven Rosenstone about Winona's higher-ed-business cooperation, the Winona Daily News reported.

Rosenstone also visited Southeast Technical College, where he also heard from business and education leaders.
