Minnesota students considering their college choices may not have considered the U of M or the U of W.

No, I'm not talking about the University of Minnesota or the University of Wisconsin, but rather the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.

The Canadian province of Manitoba is stepping up efforts to lure Minnesota students north for college.  They're biggest selling point is the cost of tuiton.

Because of a 20-year old reciprocity agreement between the two international neighbors, Minnesota students pay in-province fees at seven Manitoban schools, where on average tuition prices are about $3,500 to $4,000 a year.
