One of the six people wounded by gunfire in Minneapolis over Memorial Day weekend has died.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified him as Guled Hashi Mohamed, 26, of Burnsville. He was also known as Omer Mohammed.
Mohamed died of a gunshot wound to the head Monday morning at Hennepin County Medical Center. According to a statement from Minneapolis police, Mohamed was shot outside of a bar near the corner of Groveland and Nicollet Avenues at approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Police are investigating several shootings that took place downtown and south Minneapolis Sunday night and early Monday morning. They do not have any suspects yet.
All six people shot were men, and three of them were shot in the head.
