Gov. Mark Dayton vetoed several Republican budget bills and put the onus for the impasse over the state's budget on "right-wing" members of the legislature. Republicans say it is reasonable to spend only the amount of money the state is expecting to take in for the next two-year budget cycle.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Republican Fritz Knaak, a former assistant minority leader in the Minnesota Senate and DFLer Margaret Anderson Kelliher, a former speaker of the Minnesota House.
