A police officer was injured Wednesday when two Roseville squad cars collided while responding to a bank robbery.
One of the squad cars rolled over, and the police officer had to be removed and taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment, according to Ramsey County sheriff's spokesman Randy Gustafson.
Gustafson said the police officer is in stable condition. The officer driving the other car did not sustain any serious injuries.
The squad cars were headed westbound on County Road B2 at about noon to respond to the reported armed robbery. when they collided just outside of InterBank in Roseville.
Gustafson said the FBI is investigating the bank robbery, and the Minnesota State Patrol is reconstructing the accident.
