The Minnesota Twins have sold out the team's annual fan festival after capping the number of tickets at 25,000 because of a venue change.
The Twins moved the three-day event to the National Sports Center in Blaine because of the collapse of the Metrodome roof. The team says it has never limited the number of tickets to TwinsFest in the past, but was compelled to do so because of the move to the Sports Center.
The event runs Friday, Jan. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 30. The Twins say more than 60 current, former and future team players are expected to appear during the course of the weekend. TwinsFest is an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.
