Twin Cities residential construction activity fell in December 2010, compared to the same month in 2009.
However, for the full year, permits for home construction outpaced the 2009 numbers.
Permits pulled by Twin Cities home builders last year climbed 13 percent over 2009, and the number of number of permitted units spiked, too. However, the dollar value of those permits was lower than in 2009.
