The body of a deer hunter has been found in the woods of western Minnesota.
Otter Tail County sheriff's officials say Corey Meyer, 38, of Spring Lake Park was apparently trying to get through some thick brush when he stumbled and his gun discharged.
The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls says Meyer's body was found Sunday. Authorities say Meyer had just shot a deer when he accidentally shot himself in the head and died Saturday afternoon.
