Republicans in the Minnesota Senate meet tomorrow to elect a leader -- a majority leader. The GOP picked up 16 Senate seats in Tuesday's election. That gave them control of the chamber for the first time in 38 years. One of the architects of that dramatic takeover was a little-known state senator named Amy Koch. She currently serves as assistant minority leader and hails from Buffalo, where she was just re-elected to her fourth term in the state Senate. MPR's Cathy Wurze spoke with Sen. Koch.
