One of the oldest black congregations in Minnesota will hold a re-dedication ceremony this weekend.
Pilgrim Baptist Church in St. Paul was founded in 1866 by a group of former slaves from Missouri.
Among the planned events is a re-enactment of the group's arrival at Fort Snelling by riverboat. Vicky Davis is one of the organizers for the homecoming program at Pilgrim, and she joined All Things Considered host Steven John in the studio.
