The University of Minnesota says a building on the East Bank campus in Minneapolis should reopen Thursday after a chemical spill forced the building to be evacuated.
The spill happened Wednesday in the Phillips Wangensteen Building, which is part of the university's medical school.
The university says the chemical has been identified as pyridine, a highly corrosive compound.
Cleanup crews were on site. The building was evacuated and a nearby street closed.
Two people were being decontaminated.
