The University of St. Thomas has created a special Hall of Fame to honor the state's greatest real estate dealmakers.
It's the creation of the Shenehon Center for Real Estate at the university's Opus College of Business. The announcement was made earlier this week.
To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, potential candidates must be nominated by members of St. Thomas' real estate advisory board or by colleagues.
Once nominated, a selection committee of the UST Real Estate Advisory Board reviews the applicants' credentials. The first inductees will be enshrined October 27.
Herb Tousley, director of the Shenehon Center, says inductees will have shown outstanding business performance along with high ethical standards.
