A 1812 replica warship was the backdrop for a Chanhassen couple who tied the knot onboard the classic wooden clipper docked at the Twin Ports for the tall ships festival.
Erin Somers and RJ Johnson were winners of a contest sponsored by Minnesota Monthly that allowed them to marry on the Pride of Baltimore II.
The couple were chauffeured to the ship, exchanged vows on deck Sunday afternoon, then were treated to a luau reception and accomodations at Larsmont Cottages.
The Baltimore is among nine ships docked at the port for the tall ships festival. The Duluth News Tribune says the ships will be departing throughout the week.
