2) No smoke here: South Central College has gone tobacco-free on both its Faribault and North Mankato campuses, making it the 11th campus to do so in the state system of colleges and universities.
3) New Duluth boss: Patrick Johns, former chief of Anoka-Ramsey Community College, is the new president of Lake Superior College in Duluth.
4) Rebuilding the campus: Repairs to the buildings on the campus of the Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Wadena, which were damaged by June 17 tornado, should be done by late August -- in time for the fall term.
