Mpls police ask for help in search for missing boy

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 12-year-old boy who has autism.

Joshua Staebler was last seen riding his bicycle near 43rd Ave. S and 42nd St. at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Police officials released the following description of the missing boy:

"Staebler is described as Hispanic male, 5' 2", 115 lbs., with a deformed right ear. He was last seen wearing a black lab coat over a black t-shirt with a basketball logo on it, and brown plaid shorts. Staebler was last seen riding a candy apple red 20" Magnum brand bicycle."

Police officials are asking anyone who has seen Staebler to call 612-348-2345 or call 911.
