Joshua Staebler, 12, of Minneapolis, went missing Tuesday while riding his bicycle. Police are asking members of the public to help them find Staebler, who has autism.

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 12-year-old boy who has autism.

Joshua Staebler was last seen riding his bicycle near 43rd Ave. S and 42nd St. at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Police officials released the following description of the missing boy:

"Staebler is described as Hispanic male, 5' 2", 115 lbs., with a deformed right ear. He was last seen wearing a black lab coat over a black t-shirt with a basketball logo on it, and brown plaid shorts. Staebler was last seen riding a candy apple red 20" Magnum brand bicycle."

Police officials are asking anyone who has seen Staebler to call 612-348-2345 or call 911.
