Officials at Mayo High School in Rochester are trying to scrub a joke name from the recently released yearbook in the last days of the school year.
Students report that a freshman student's name was altered in the book to read "Moe Lester." The name also appears in the index at the back of the book.
The yearbooks came out earlier this month. The Post-Bulletin reports officials have been scrambling to get the 1,000 or so books and make changes, which includes pasting a sticker over the student's name to correctly spell the name.
Mayo officials did not return messages left by the newspaper Tuesday.
