U2's tour of North America, including a concert at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium, will be rescheduled for 2011.
Tour promoter Live Nation announced Tuesday that all shows from June 3 through July 19 will be rescheduled as Bono, the band's front man, recovers from back surgery.
U2 had been scheduled to appear at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, June 27.
"Although we understand the disappointment of U2 fans, first and foremost comes the recovery of Bono," Arthur Fogel, CEO of Live Nation Global Touring, said in a written statement issued Tuesday.

Tens of thousands of people have already purchased tickets and paid ticketing fees. Some even prepaid their parking in Minneapolis for the event. University of Minnesota spokesman Dan Wolter said it isn't clear yet what the options will be for ticket holders.
"We are one of 16 venues around the United States that will be postponed until 2011. This is a huge logistical undertaking for the promoter to reschedule all these concerts," Wolter said. "So we are in discussions with Live Nation ... to figure out what date that will be and what will be the next steps."
Bono had the emergency surgery last week in Munich after being injured while preparing for the tour.
