More crosstown road closures announced for Twin Cities metro

State transportation officials announced several road closures Monday in the Twin Cities metro area, as crews continue work on the Crosstown project.
Among the closures:
-- Northbound Interstate 35W to Diamond Lake Road will close at 10 p.m. Thursday. The ramp will remain closed for about six weeks. All ramps along southbound I-35W at Diamond Lake Road and the Diamond Lake Road Bridge will remain open.
-- Nicollet Avenue under I-35W/Highway 62 in Roseville will close at noon Friday. The road will reopen by 3 p.m. on Friday. I-35W and Hwy 62 will remain open during the closure.

-- The northbound I- 35W ramp to westbound Ramsey County Road 10 will close at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
-- The Northbound I-35W ramp from Ramsey County Road H will close at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
-- Portland Avenue to westbound Hwy 62 will close at 10 p.m. on Thursday. The ramp will remain closed until August. The Portland Avenue bridge will remain open during the closure.
-- The eastbound Hwy 62 ramp will remain closed for motorists connecting from southbound I-35W to eastbound Hwy 62.
Transportation officials also announced that the ramp from Ramsey County Road I to southbound I-35W, along with all ramps between Ramsey County Road 96 and I-35W will reopen by 2 p.m. Tuesday.
