Community colleges in Brooklyn Park and Inver Grove Heights could get new presidents Wednesday when the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities trustees meet.
Chancellor James H. McCormick has nominated John O'Brien as president of North Hennepin Community College and Tim Wynes as president of Inver Hills Community College.
A news release says O'Brien is now on leave from his job as vice president of Century College to direct a MnSCU plan to improve student services.
The system says Wynes has been chancellor of the two-college Iowa Valley Community College District in Iowa since 2002.
