Man dead in snowmobile crash in Carver County

Carver County deputies are investigating after a 28-year-old man was found dead near to a snowmobile in Hollywood Township.

The sheriff's office says that at about 7 p.m. Saturday deputies responded to a report of a snowmobile crash. When they arrived, they found the body and the snowmobile.

The victim's name is not being released pending notification of his family. The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
