Three Minnesota community colleges will receive more than $13 million in federal stimulus money to train workers for emerging jobs in the healthcare industry.
The grant money is part of a $1 billion effort nationally to help hospitals implement computerized record keeping, and to train future doctors, nurses and pharmacy techs to use health information and technology.
The awards were announced Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
