The City of Minneapolis will pay a $350,000 judgment over an employment dispute involving a female firefighter.
Kristina Lemon was one of several women firefighters who sued former fire chief Bonnie Bleskachek back in 2006.
Lemon eventually settled her case with the city and received $35,000. But Lemon says officials in the fire department retaliated against her and in 2008 she filed another lawsuit. She claimed she was unfairly disciplined, demoted and subjected to a hostile work environment.
A judge ordered that the city pay Lemon $150,000 dollars for emotional distress and pay her attorneys' fees of $200,000.
