A Minneapolis woman has been charged in a wrong-way crash that killed an unborn child.
Connie Ann Stroud faces three counts of criminal vehicular homicide and three counts of criminal vehicular operation for the Dec. 5 crash.
The complaint filed Monday says the 42-year-old told officers she was drunk and confused when she went the wrong way down an Interstate 94 exit ramp in Minneapolis. Her pickup collided head-on with a minivan carrying a family of seven.
Tao Thao was eight months pregnant. Her unborn child died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Authorities say Stroud's blood alcohol level was 0.17 percent, over double the legal limit.
Stroud's phone number has been changed to unlisted and she couldn't be reached for comment.
