Virginia police have released the name of a man who was stabbed to death in the Iron Range city over the weekend.
Police say he was 33-year-old Jamie John Drumm, of Virginia. He was stabbed multiple times early Saturday. Another man with him was also stabbed. He was treated for his injuries and released.
Investigators say they're still seeking a "person of interest," in the case, a 39-year-old man with a long criminal record whose last known address was in Duluth.
Police say two assailants drove up on the victims, who were walking down a street. Words were exchanged and a fight ensued.
Police Chief Dana Waldron says the motive isn't clear, and the parties didn't know each other.
