Gov Poll: Norm Coleman leads GOP field, Dayton and Rybak running close on DFL side

A new Rasmussen poll shows that the race for governor in both parties is still WIDE open. It's so wide open on the GOP side that the person leading the poll isn't even in the race (yet).

Rasmussen Reports found that 50 percent of the Republicans polled say they would back former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman for governor even though he isn't even in the race. Not Sure is receiving 26 percent. State Rep. Marty Seifert is third with 11 percent.

On the DFL side, 30 percent of the DFLers polled back former U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton, 30 percent back Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. Not Sure comes in third with 20 percent support.
