The oldest cathedral in Sioux Falls is getting a $16 million makeover.
The St. Joseph Cathedral renovation is expected to be done in 2011.
Most of the 90-year-old building will be gutted and refurbished. Renovations will include electrical system upgrades, the replacement of a 35-year-old stone floor with marble, and the installation of an air conditioning system and sound system.
